My Evaluation

For my double page feature, I am very happy with how the two pages compliment each other despite them using different layouts. I like how I incorporated the large letter on the right side of the page, this represents the names of the band artists and adds colour underneath the text. I think this is effective as it draws in with the colours used on both pages, creating a house brand. I like the line detail used on both pages at the top; this adds uniqueness and makes this article different to others. It also presents the fun personality of the band. I think the main image used is effective as it draws in the reader and strikes the focus of the camera lens, it uses the beauty myth and the female model is using the invitational facial expression from Marjorie Ferguson. The other images present the same look for the band, allowing them to be distributed to the world and having their personality accessed by the audience. Overall, I am very happy with the outcome of my double page feature as the layout of both pages draw together to create a professional looking piece.
